This development methodology is essentially based on the SCRUM Agile model. We recommend this development model to our customers (as a cost-effective alternative compared to V-Waterfall model) for those who haven’t yet frozen their detailed functional requirements and who are comfortable with a monthly T&M (Time & Material) pricing model. Even though the customer is aware of the broad level objectives of the intended application but the detailed Functional Requirement Specification has not been worked out as yet.
Unavailability of a peer solution in the market and consequent inability to compare features.
Time-To-Market Deadline has already been arrived at by the customer.
Intended Requirement set is rather large vis-a-vis the Time-to-Market Deadline.
Customer intends to shape the future versions of the application based on its client feedback.
Customer intends to enhance, replace or upgrade the User Interface (Usability aspect) as well the feature/functionality set rather frequently.
