The Client

The client is a US based leader in bringing compelling lifestyle, fashion and performance brands for footwear and related accessories to consumers worldwide with presence in more than 100 countries.

Business Need

The client wanted to develop a system for their international distributors for streamlining order management and related tasks. Further, the idea was to communicate the business rules effectively to the international distributors spread in more than 100 plus countries. This was required to make sure that the business transactions happen smoothly and more efficiently. There was a need to bring in the efficiency at the factory production level as well.

Our Solution

Stragure came up with a reformation roadmap and envisaged the ‘to-be state’ for the client. Stragure adopted a phase-wise approach and defined the would-be processes.
Phase I: Delivery Methodology, Understanding Customers as is Process, Defining the 'to-be Process' , Overall Project Management Defined
Phase II: Defined Engineering processes, Key Agile Milestones Defined
Phase III: Designed, Developed, Tested Enterprise Software in an Iterative Fashion
Phase IV : UAT, Go-Live and Support Cycle Established
Stragure enabled deployment of processes and conducted an organization-wide process training program. Stragure also designed and developed the quality assurance process structure and provided implementation, post go live support.

Benefits

Stragure helped the client achieve the following benefits: Improved on time delivery for the worldwide distributors (improvement by 65%), reduced maverick orders by distributors (by 70%) and reduced variance on schedule, cost and effort.
Process acceptance by various business groups was much higher. Achieved higher process acceptance resulting in standardization and consistency in distributed order management.
Order exports and factory wise order splits were generated by the system and served as input for factory planning systems.
Achieved greater visibility into overall ,order management performance resulting in improved governance and management.
